Terms and Conditions:
Please read the following information carefully as the terms and
conditions described herein constitute an agreement between you
and Fun Train Canada Inc. If you make a reservation or make payment
with the Okanagan Valley Wine Train, operated by Fun Train Canada Inc. you
thereby agree to accept the terms and conditions of this contract.
Excursion
Prices :
All prices are in Canadian Dollars,
per person, and are valid at time of publishing. Group excursion
rates are available from Fun Train Canada Inc. Please contact our
Sales Department at 1-866-688-9999. All prices, programs,
terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and are
subject to availability.
Not
Included:
All taxes. GST /PST is applicable on all beverages and meals,
souvenir and gift items served aboard the train. Incidental expenses,
items of a personal nature before or after the excursion; and all
other items not specified in the description of the excursion contained
in this brochure.
Reservation/Payment
Policy:
Full payment must be received at the time of booking to confirm
your reservation. Travel Agents please note: Agency cheques, American
Express, MasterCard, VISA are acceptable forms of payment. Okanagan
Valley Wine Train will obtain authorization for the credit card
sales. Should your client wish to make payment by credit card, please
have the following information available.
- Name as noted on the credit card
- Address of credit card holder
- Type of credit card
- Full credit card number/expiry date
- Written authorization of your client

Refunds:
No refunds shall be made on unused services. Cancellations received
within 21 days prior to the excursion date will result in forfeiture
of all payments on file. Written notice of cancellation must be
provided.
Surcharges:
Fun Train Canada Inc. will hold the prices published for as long
as possible. Unfortunately fuel prices, government taxation and
other factors outside our control may force us to ask for surcharges.
In the extreme cases we could pass these on to you. In this unlikely
event we would waive our penalty, to you, if you chose to cancel.
Suppliers
Liability:
Fun Train Canada Inc. acts as an agent for and makes arrangements
with other independent parties to provide you with travel services,
entertainment and meals. Although great care is taken to choose
suppliers, we are unable to directly control their actions and them,
and, therefore, we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
The services provided by these suppliers and their liability may
be limited by their tariffs, conditions of carriage and agreements.
Prohibited
articles:
The following items are prohibited on the train: animals, firearms
and ammunition, explosives and fireworks, flammable items, hazardous
material and illegal substances.
Smoking
Policy:
Okanagan Valley Wine Train is a smoke-free train.
Responsibility:
All travel involves some risks and you accept personal responsibility
for your trip. Services in connection with this excursion are rendered
by suppliers acting as independent contractors and not as agents
or employees of Fun Train Canada Inc./Okanagan Valley Wine Train/Okanagan
Valley Fun Train. In accepting these services you agree that Fun Train
Canada Inc. and its affiliates shall not be liable for any injury,
damage, death, loss, accident, expenses, delay or negligence to
persons or party in connection with any transportation. Accommodations,
or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrence
or condition beyond its control including but not limited to defects
and breakdown of equipment, acts of God, acts of governments or
other authorities, wars, riots, civil disturbances, strikes, thefts,
delays, changes in itinerary or schedules, etc. All services, accommodations
and facilities are subject to the laws and customs of the Province
of British Columbia/Alberta. Unforeseen conditions may necessitate
changes and the right is reserved to make such changes.
Fun Train Canada Inc. and its affiliates reserves the right or
make changes or substitutions in the dates, itinerary, costs as
it becomes necessary or desirable without liability to itself or
its corresponding or affiliated associations and organization or
their agents. In the event of the excursions being cancelled by the
operator, he shall have not responsibility other than the refund
of all deposits and monies paid to him, less the cost of any insurance
premium, by guests. No refunds will be made for unused portions
of the excursions itself. Our liability is strictly limited to refund
of your payments, less the cost of any insurance premium, to us
and does not include consequential damages. Fun Train Canada Inc.
and its affiliates reserve the right to cancel any group departure
if the minimum enrollment figures are not achieved. In the event
of cancellation by Fun Train Canada Inc. and its affiliates, participants
will receive a total refund of the fees paid, including deposits
less the insurance premium if applicable. Fun Train Canada Inc. reserves
the right to decline to accept any person as member of a group or
individual at any time when such action is determined to be in the
best interests of the health, safety, and general welfare of the
group or individual. Any physical condition requiring special attention,
diet or treatment must be reported in writing when the reservation
is made. Individuals under the age of 19 are not permitted to consume
alcoholic beverages.
Delays:
There will be delays from time to time as we share the tracks
with other passenger and freight trains. They are usually unforeseeable
and unavoidable. They may be caused by the track not being cleared
of other trains for safety or technical reasons. We will keep you
advised of arrival times. Flexibility is the key and we will do
our best to adhere to our schedule.
Boarding
and Check-in:
The Kelowna Train Station is situated at 600 Recreation Avenue,
Kelowna, B.C. And opens 90 Minutes before departure. We recommend
that passengers arrive at the platform no later than 45 minutes
prior to departure as Okanagan Valley Wine Train reserves the right
to release all space to the general public 30 minutes prior to train
departure. Group Leader must act as representative for the entire
group. If tickets are to be picked up locally the Group Leader must
pick up all tickets for distribution.
Passenger
Conduct:
Okanagan Valley Wine Train reserves the right to dismiss passengers
from the train if their conduct interferes with the enjoyment of
others or endangers the safe operation of the train or its staff
and contents.
Souvenirs
and Gifts:
A collection of gifts and souvenirs is offered for purchase aboard
the train.
Gratuities:
Tipping is at the passengers' discretion and should be based on
the quality and manner of services.
